Our Medical Team
Clint Carter, M.D.
Dr. Carter grew up in Whitehouse, Texas, and has always had a strong connection to the East Texas community. He earned his bachelor’s from ETBU and his Medical Degree from UT Houston. After completing his residency, he returned to East Texas and spent 15 years practicing emergency medicine. In 2016, he founded MyMD Select in Tyler to provide more personalized, community-focused care.
Stephanie Carter, PA-C
Stephanie grew up in Shreveport and earned her Biology degree from ETBU, where she met her husband, Dr. Clint Carter. She went on to complete her master’s in physician assistant studies at UTMB Galveston. After two years in cardiothoracic and vascular surgery and 14 years in cardiology, she transitioned to family medicine in 2016 with the opening of MyMD Select.
Jamie Kirby, M.D.
Dr. Jamie Kirby, a Texas A&M College of Medicine graduate, began in radiology before finding her passion in Family Medicine. Since 2012, she has served the Tyler community in Urgent Care, Primary Care, and Aesthetic Medicine, while also teaching at UT Tyler School of Medicine. She is dedicated to wellness and personalized care with an emphasis on fitness and nutrition drawing on nearly 20 years of experience.
Laura Roberts, Nurse Practitioner
Laura, a Tyler native and UT Austin graduate, is certified in both Acute Care and Family Practice. Since 2004, she’s worked in internal medicine, ICU, and as a hospitalist. She teaches at UT Tyler and is a certified Tea Specialist. Laura and her husband, a CRNA and Army reservist, are active in the Tyler community and passionate about senior dog rescue.
Blaise Davis, Nurse Practitioner
Blaise earned his BSN and MSN from UT Arlington and is certified by both AANP and ANCC. A U.S. Army veteran, he brings experience in internal medicine, urgent care, mental health, and first response. He’s passionate about personalized care and helping patients reach their health goals. Outside of work, he enjoys time with family, staying active, and working on cars.
Chris Lambert, Nurse Practitioner
Chris became a chiropractor in 1989 and later earned a diploma in Chiropractic Orthopedics. He was the 50th chiropractor worldwide certified by the McKenzie Institute, a method that teaches patients how to self-treat spine and joint issues. He later became a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2013. Outside of work, he enjoys time with his family.
