Jay Marsolan, FNP-C, IFMCP
Jay Marsolan is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner who received his Master’s in Nursing from Ball State University in 2011. Jay is also board certified in Functional Medicine by the Institute for Functional Medicine. He has an extensive career of service in emergency medicine where he served as a Flight Nurse and an Emergency Nurse Practitioner.
Jay and his wife, Keisha (a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner) live with their children in Longview, TX. Jay is a life-long bodybuilder and avid outdoorsman.
He has a passion for helping his clients achieve wellness by finding root causes for illness through prevention of disease. He is highly sought after for helping patients with weight loss, hormone balancing, and developing healthy lifestyles.
Meagan McDonald, AGNP-C, IFMCP
Meagan has been practicing Family Medicine in Longview since 2014. Meagan received her Bachelors in Nursing at Stephen F. Austin University in 2008. She then worked in ICU and cardiovascular ICU before going back to obtain her Masters in Nursing from the University of Texas Medical Branch in 2013. She also holds a certification in Functional Medicine through The Institute of Functional Medicine.
When asked why she chose MyMD Select – Longview she said, “The Direct Primary Care model allows for a more individualized patient centered approach to care.”
She also stated her favorite part of MyMD Select is that the patients have more (and easier) access to high-quality care when they need it!
Fun facts about Meagan:
- She is happily married to her husband, Robert
- They have a wild and beautiful daughter, Maddy
- They spend weekends on the lake and chasing their chocolate lab named Duke
Heather Myers Wilson, MSN, FNP-BC
Heather has been with the MyMD Select Team since 2019. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner that graduated in 2017 with her Master’s in Nursing from Walden University in. She has extensive work history in the emergency department, intensive care unit, and in long-term acute care at local hospitals. Currently she is in the process of obtaining her Functional Medicine certification.
When asked why she chose to work for MyMD Select, she says, “The direct PCP model allows more time with patients, to truly understand their concerns and get to the root cause of their condition or conditions. Improving health overall has always been my goal. MyMD Select has a collaborative team with like-minded individuals that truly care about the wellbeing of their patients. That is the kind of TEAM I wanted to be a part of.”
She also says her favorite part of working at MyMD Select is her patients and coworkers. Her patients want to improve their overall wellbeing and achieve optimal health and it is amazing when they let you know how much their life has improved. She also believes the atmosphere of the office helps elevate the experience of everyone that walks in the door.
Fun facts about Heather:
- She grew up in Hallsville, Texas about 15 minutes from our office in Longview
- She is married with four wonderful children
- She enjoys quality time with family and friends
- They have a full farm of animals including cows, pigs, and horses
- They go on adventures when they can travel
- They enjoy hunting, fishing, all things outdoors
